Emmerdale fans work out Craig Reeds downfall as villager spots worrying clue

Lydia tells Craig to leave her alone and Mandy over hears

Emmerdale villain Craig Reed (played by Ben Addis) could soon get exposed by Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) after the beautician spotted a worrying clue.

Fans seem to think Mandy will be Craig’s downfall after he raped Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick), who has been left reeling from the attack.

During Thursday’s episode, Lydia returned from the police station after almost confessing to what happened to her.

However, it all got too much for the Dingle favourite, and she soon rushed back home.

As she walked in the door, Craig approached Lydia, and the cleaner coldly told him to leave her alone – and the moment didn’t go unnoticed by Mandy.

“Where have you been? I have tried calling, I was worried,” Sam Dingle (James Hooton) told his wife.

“You’ve been ages,” Mandy pointed out as Lydia replied: “I bumped into Amelia, she needed a hand with Esther, I just lost track of time.”

As the Dingle family tried to get Lydia to sit down a play a card game, she made an excuse telling them she was going to stick the beers in the fridge.

“I’ll grab another,” Craig said as he approached Lydia.

“I’ll get it,” Lydia said as she quickly handed him a beer.

“I am glad you’re back,” Craig said as he asked her. “Everything ok?”

However, Lydia jumped to her defenses and ordered: “Leave me alone.”

The moment didn’t go unnoticed by Mandy who turned around to witness the whole thing.
