McDonald's reveals huge menu shake up this week including return of popular burger | The Sun

MCDONALD'S is making a change to menus this week in a big shake up.

The fast food giant is adding six new items to its offering at restaurants across the UK.

From Wednesday Maccies fans will be able to get their hands on the new items, including the ever popular Big Tasty and the Big Tasty with bacon.

Also amongst the items making a comeback are two Cadbury Flake McFlurrys and Mozzarella Dippers.

If you want to try these additions then don't hang around because they will only be on menus until October 17.

For those after a warmer treat, the new shake up also includes the return of the Caramel Waffle latte to McCafe menus too.

McDonald’s is axing two menu items within DAYS – is your favourite included?

The history of McDonald’s ownership

Both of the Big Tasty burgers were last on the menu in May and they're a big hit with fans whenever they make a comeback.

It contains a beef patty, melty cheese made with Emmental, tomato, lettuce, onions and iconic Big Tasty sauce.

If you want to take your burger up a notch you can also bag the bacon variation too.

Fans will be able to pick up the burgers from Wednesday at 11am for £5.89 for the classic and £6.69 with bacon.

And the raspberry version is the same only drizzled in a sweet, fruity sauce instead, both will cost £1.99 for a usual size and £1.49 for a mini.

The Caramel Waffle latte, which debuted last November, is blended with caramel waffle syrup, topped with caramel cream and a sugar dusting.

We have asked Maccies if there will be multiple sizes of the drink and will update this story when we know more.

How do I find my nearest McDonald's?

If you're planning on taking a trip to McDonald's, you'll want to know where your nearest branch is.

The chain has a restaurant locator tool on its website you can use to find your nearest one – and check what time it opens.

Bear in mind that McDonald's serves breakfast every day until 11am.

After that, the menu switches to the normal menu serving meals such as burgers, chicken nuggets and more.

How can I save on my McDonald's order?

There are plenty of ways you can save on your next trip to McDonald's.

You should choose your branch wisely – menu prices can vary across different restaurants just a couple of miles apart.

We've seen Big Mac meals up to 30p cheaper before, which added up over the course of a year could save you a fair few pounds.

You can also get freebies on your birthday if you've got the My McDonald's app.

Remember to log your date of birth on the app though, otherwise you'll miss out.

You can get a Big Mac and fries for just £1.99 as well if you fill out the quick feedback survey following your last visit.

All you'll need is your receipt which should have been issued no more than 60 days after your visit.

A 12-digit code will be printed on the proof of purchase and then you can enter the McDonald's Food for Thought website to fill out a quick survey.
