Martin Fowler (James Bye) found himself completely overwhelmed as adopted daughter Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) gave birth in recent EastEnders scenes.
Lily went into labour at home during a recent episode, which also saw creepy Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis) reveal himself as Stacey Slater’s (Lacey Turner) stalker.
Stacey was horrified when she went into the kitchen to get towels for Lily’s birth and came face to face with an angry Theo, who had let himself into her house.
Thankfully, Martin and Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) soon arrived, and the trio managed to get Theo out of the house, just in time for the birth of Lily’s baby.

As they rushed into the living room, Martin was horrified by the sight of 13-year-old Lily giving birth, and when she ordered him out of the room, he was happy to oblige.
Eve kept him company in the hallway, and it was there that he broke down as his emotions overwhelmed him.
‘She’s just a baby having a baby,’ he emotionally pointed out.
It was clear that the sound of Lily in pain was upsetting him, and Eve tried her best to comfort him.
However, that was soon forgotten after baby Charli was delivered, and Martin was invited in to meet his granddaughter.
As Stacey expressed her disbelief that Lily was able to make a baby when she can’t even make toast, the family seemed overjoyed by their new addition.
However, with the threat of sinister Theo still hanging over them, will it all be smooth sailing going forward?
