Below Decks Captain Sandy blasted for stars comeback and Ruans fake documents

Below Deck Mediterranean season eight teased by Bravo

Below Deck Mediterranean fans are furious at Captain Sandy Yawn’s decision to bring back three of the show’s most divisive cast members.

For the latest charter, Kyle Viljoen and Natalya Scudder were both brought back after causing trouble in season seven.

To make matters worse, newcomer Ruan Irving was swiftly asked to leave after presenting Captain Sandy, 58, with fake documents.

Viewers were fuming over the fact that two of the Bravo show’s most controversial crew were given a second chance, while the likes of Hannah Ferrier and Hindrigo ‘KiKo’ Lorran were hung out to dry.

One Below Deck fan wrote on X/Twitter: “I’m not even excited to watch this new season of Below Deck Mediterranean.

“Natalya was obnoxious last season. Looks like she’s going to be unpleasant again this season.”

Another fumed: “I’m annoyed Kyle was even allowed on this show again after screwing a guest and the crew by faking two injuries last season…

“The Below Deck series has the most authenticity and I hope they don’t ruin it with all the fake setup drama.”

Meanwhile, Ruan was brought back on deck with false papers plastered with someone else’s face.

Captain Sandy confronted him over the issue and he was forced to wait on shore until he was able to procure legitimate certification.

However, he was then informed that a friend of his had tragically died and let Sandy know that he wouldn’t be coming back aboard.

One viewer fumed: “As if Ruan thought he would get away with fake documents!”

And another said: “Ruan explains ‘I don’t have parents so I left the originals with a friend…’

“M-Fer what does not having parents have to do with you not bringing legal documents, as required? Which, if you took actual courses you would know. GTFOH”

The eighth season charter on board the Mustique has only just begun, so there’ll be plenty more drama for fans to dig into over the coming weeks.

Below Deck Mediterranean season 8 continues Mondays on Bravo.
