FUMING Luxembourg manager Luc Holtz stormed down the tunnel after seeing his team concede NINE goals to a Bruno Fernandes-inspired Portugal.

Manchester United playmaker Bruno Fernandes hit a hat-trick of assists and bagged himself a goal in a 9-0 thrashing of Luxembourg at the Estadio Algarve in a EURO 2024 qualifier.



But the boss of the European minnows had seen enough of the game when Portugal hit their eighth through Fernandes.

Red Lions manager Holtz stood up from his seat in the dugout and stormed off down the tunnel in the 83rd minute.

Watching viewers were left shocked at his sudden exit.

One stunned fan said: "I had never seen this happen before, bro really just rage quit in the middle of the game lmao."

Holtz, 54, has been in charge of his nation's national team since 2010.

He also earned 55 caps as a player between 1991 and 2002.

However, things did not improve in his absence as former Chelsea loanee Joao Felix netted a stunning ninth four minutes later.

The win proved to be a historic fixture for Roberto Martinez's side, as they recorded Portugal's biggest-ever win.

All of this came without Al-Nassr ace Cristiano Ronaldo, who was suspended.

Despite the humiliation, Luxembourg have matched enjoyed a record qualifying campaign by collecting ten points from six games, matching their record from 1996.
