FORMER Premier League star Wayne Bridge has revealed one of his old managers would let players have a day off if they'd spent the previous evening having sex.
The ex-Chelsea and England left-back was discussing his career on That Peter Crouch Podcast when he told the shocking tale.
Bridge was managed by Gus Poyet while on loan at Brighton in the 2012/13 campaign.
At the end of his loan, the Premier League winner returned to parent club Manchester City before moving to Reading to end his playing days.
But he would have chosen to stay with the Seagulls if Poyet had not also left that summer because he was so fond of the Uruguayan's unique methods of man management.
Bridge explained: "It was do I stay at Brighton or do I go Reading, those are my options.
