AN office worker was mortified after her risqué joke didn't land with her boss.
The employee admitted that she couldn't stop herself from making the inappropriate remark when the corporate big-shot told her about his dog.
In her video onTikTok, Lydia Victoria (@lydia.victoriia) said she managed to absolutely mortify herself at work.
She told viewers: "For once in my life, I didn't let a smutty joke go."
Remembering the incident, Lydia continued: "I don’t know why I did it, I’m just really upset."
She explained that she had been in a meeting with a co-owner of the company she works for when the joke slipped out.
Lydia's boss had been interviewing her as a potential candidate for an upcoming work opportunity that she really wanted.
After finishing the interview, which Lydia thought she nailed, she engaged in small talk with her employer.
While discussing the company's upcoming charity event, she said she couldn't help but make the NSFW comment.
Lydia's boss had been telling her that he was disappointed that his dog wouldn't be able to participate in the company's charity walk.

The dog's name was Willy, and as her boss spoke about him, she couldn't ignore the double entendre.
"I really wish I could bring my Willy but he’s just so tired and he’s so old now. He’s just not moving as much as he used to," Lydia's boss told her.
Before she could stop herself, she replied: "OK, but what about your dog?"
Lydia recalled the awkward silence that followed her failed attempt at humor.
"He looks at me, he smiles, and he changes the conversation," she said.
"The worst bit is he didn’t laugh, he just looked at me. He looked uncomfortable."
Lydia was still reeling from the embarrassment as she recounted the story.
"I shouldn’t have said it, I should’ve just let it hang there," she told her audience.
"I think it’s fair to say I won’t be going on the expedition and I really let myself down."
Her followers took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the scenario.
