Your home’s front door is one of the most important features to get looking perfect – given that it’s the first thing people see, it gives an immediate impression of what’s inside.
Property experts even suggest that the shade you pick can impact your house's value by thousands, with some in-your-face colours knocking heaps off how much you can expect to fetch.
With that in mind, one savvy homeowner has shared how she managed to dupe a fancy £6k front door with just a £50 budget.
Louise and James are canny DIYers who are sharing their renovation journey on their Instagram and TikTok accounts, both with the handle @The_Little_Pink_Nest.
And in a recent video which racked up 32k views, they showed off their stunning new front door that they achieved for just £50.
To begin, Louise filmed herself sanding and painting the current tired oak front door and porch with multiple layers of thick black paint.
