I’m A Celebrity has been hit with fix claims, after Frankie Dettori left the show over Nella Rose on Sunday night’s first live eviction.

Ant and Dec delivered the news of this year’s first evictee, with the camp appearing staggered that the jockey, 52, was leaving the jungle after he was left with the fewest public votes alongside YouTuber Nella, 26.

After the announcement was made, Frankie bid farewell to his campmates, during which politician Nigel Farage said: ‘It’s a fix, Frankie. You were last in, first out.’

Echoing the sentiment, Twitter was soon flooded with outrage from viewers, who alleged the results must be ‘fixed’ or ‘rigged’ due to the fact Nella, who has been at loggerheads with campmates and divided fans, was a favourite to leave.

Viewers penned: ‘I’m a celebrity producers 100000% made sure nella didn’t go first what a fix… So nella most hated person on I’m a celeb but frankie gets voted off 1st !! I knew this was going happen its a fix..

‘Nella has stayed in because of all the attention the shows getting because of nella..shame on you I’m a celebrity… One reason I’m a celeb @imacelebrity is a FIX…

‘Nella… Nigel even said it’s a fix we all know deep down Nella should be out 1st it’s all kicking off on I’m a celeb 2023 Facebook page the viewers are p**sed #NigeltoWin… The show is totally rigged. Frankie had no air time at all…

‘Nella declaring ‘This is trial 8’ when it was announced she would do ‘Fright at the museum’ I don’t think so, she called ‘I’m a celeb…’ on 3 of them. She is no heroine, but certain camp mates have her on a pedestal…

‘I haven’t noticed Frankie but why wasn’t Nella out? #ImaCeleb #ImACelebrity…

Others however countered the claims, writing: ‘I think Nella stayed in because I’MAC has a younger fan base, many people under 30 know who Nella is, but don’t necessarily know who Frankie was.’

MailOnline has contacted ITV for comment.

The ructions on Twitter come after Frankie revealed who his money is on to be crowned victor of the jungle 2023.vThe horse racing legend appeared on Good Morning Britain just hours later to discuss his brief stint.

Speaking about his predictions for the winner of the show, Frankie revealed he thinks Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson will walk away victorious.

Others however countered the claims, writing: ‘I think Nella stayed in because I’MAC has a younger fan base, many people under 30 know who Nella is, but don’t necessarily know who Frankie was’

He said: ‘I would say my bet is Sam. He brings a lot to the table. He’s entertaining, he’s silly, he sings, he’s happy. I think people are going to like him…

‘That to me is the winner. Sometimes I wish he had the pause button right because I talk a lot but he talks non stop’.

Frankie shed light on being the first star out of the jungle, as he admitted he predicted his departure due to the huge characters on the show.

As well as Sam, he referenced Nigel, Tony Bellew, Marvin Humes and Josie Gibson as the stars who would captivate viewers.

He said: ‘[Being evicted] was a bittersweet moment…

‘I wanted to get to the final but with characters like Sam, Nigel, Tony, Marvin and Josie. I was never going to win it. So actually the thoughts of spending one more week there maybe was going to be a bit hard for me. So it was like bittersweet…

‘The sweet part is I’ve got to come out meet my lovely wife spend some time in the Gold Coast waiting for my other campmates to come out.’

On his relationship with controversial signing Nigel, he revealed: ‘I met Nigel before I went into the jungle. He’s a character larger than life… He’s interesting and knowledgeable. He’s a good laugh…

‘I never got to talk to him about politics because I’m not interested. One on one as a person he’s always good fun’.

In some insight into jungle life, he was asked about the dramas between First Dates star Fred Sirieix and Josie, after the former’s status of camp chef was removed in favour of the latter – who has been candid about her lack of cookery skills.

Frankie said: ‘I swear to God I wasn’t getting involved in it. But there was a bit of a change of the guard because the dynamic of the show changed…

‘When Fred got taken out of the kitchen and Josie went in it was head to head clash. Two different cooks in one kitchen. One person said A the other said B. But at the end of the day we all got fed.’
