It Takes Two: Angela Scanlon says her Strictly exit ‘stings’
Strictly Come Dancing’s Layton Williams has revealed he’s feeling the pressure for his upcoming routine on the BBC programme.
It comes after the 29-year-old found himself in the bottom two on Sunday evening against Irish broadcaster Angela Scanlon.
However, after both performing their routines again, the judges decided it was Layton who would be continuing in the competition.
This weekend, the stakes are high as the remaining contestants compete in the quarter-final for Musicals Week.
On Tuesday’s instalment of It Takes Two, Layton spoke about his upcoming dance with professional partner Nikita Kuzmin.

The duo revealed that this weekend, they’ll be dancing to a remixed version of Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance.
Tackling the Pasodoble, their routine has been inspired by Moulin Rouge! The Musical as the song, titled Backstage Romance, features various artists.
Layton said: “It’s specifically in the musical in the West End and Broadway.
“It’s just the perfect vibe to come back fighting as well. It’s so powerful, so I’m excited.”

It Takes Two host Fleur East asked: “Do you think that there’s extra pressure on you this week because I feel like this week is made for you, Musicals man, this is it.”
Giving a huge sigh, he confessed: “Yeah I think that the fact that obviously being in the bottom, there’s pressure to come back strong anyway.
“But, the fact that it’s musicals week and that’s kind of low-key my thing, I need to deliver.
“I feel like we’ve got a good one, I feel really good after today.”
On the current leaderboard, Ellie Leach is storming ahead with an impressive score of 38.
However, EastEnders’ Bobby Brazier is close behind with a total of 37 after his emotional couple’s choice.
There are only a few weeks to go before a star is crown this year’s winner – but who will be victorious?
