Linda Robson and husband were caught in awkward situation
Loose Women’s Linda Robson recently recalled an awkward moment she and her husband Mark Dunford found themselves in before announcing their split. During Wednesday’s edition of the ITV chatshow, the panelists discussed whether holiday friends should become friendships for life.
Denise Welch chimed: “On a holiday, you just want to chill…”
“You don’t need to exchange details,” Christine Lampard agreed.
“That’s what my husband said to me when we met this couple on holiday in Spain,” Linda began.
She continued: “When we got back they rang and he said, ‘Why do you keep giving your number to everyone?’

“Anyway, they rang and they said, ‘Do you fancy coming over, we’re doing a nice dinner tonight?’
“So I said, ‘Come on let’s go,’ he went, ‘No I’m not going all the way there.’
“I went, ‘Come on you’ll enjoy it when you get there.’
“Eventually we got there, and there are three lovely couples all sitting there, we had a lovely dinner. At the end of the dinner, all the car keys went in the middle of the table…”

Denise gasped as the actress laughed and continued: “My husband went outside, he was on his phone, he came running back in and he went, ‘We’ve got to go home, my brother’s rottweiler’s got loose and he’s ripped up all the furniture!’ And I went, ‘Your brother ain’t got a rottweiler.'”
Earlier this year, Linda confirmed she’d split with Mark after more than 30 years of marriage.
Before confirming the split, the Birds of a Feather star had alluded she and Mark were no longer together after detailing how she had enjoyed going on holidays alone.
Rumours had been circulating that the couple had called it a day on their marriage, and Linda remarked on the daytime show that she didn’t need a partner.
Discussing relationships on the show in September, she said: “I feel like I don’t really need a partner to love me. I’ve got my children, my grandchildren, my sisters, and my friends.”
Loose Women airs weekdays from 12.30pm on ITV.
