Coronation Street: The Barlow’s interrogate Peter
Coronation Street has been cancelled yet again this Friday night as ITV has made some schedule changes.
The long-running soap will be replaced by the Rugby World Cup this evening.
The show usually airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, but prioritising the prestigious sporting event has meant a shake-up in the schedule.
Instead, the soap aired three episodes this week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Viewers will have to wait until Monday for the next episode of their favourite soap and will have to settle for seeing Argentina v New Zealand on ITV tonight instead.

Fans have been left raging over not being able to see the show in it’s usual time slot on Friday.
One X (Twitter) user expressed: “Stop messing about with the scheduling. Elderly and housebound rely on routine. Sod the rugby #coronationstreet.” (sic)
Another angry fan said: “Oh not again!!! Surely the bloody rugby is finished by now. Another rubbish Fri night TV. We don’t all have Netflix etc.” (sic)
A third added: “Why can’t sports go on another ITV channel? Stop messing our soaps about. @itv.”

“You could always put the Rugby on ITV2. You do have 4 channels right? So why interfere with Corrie?” a fourth soap super-fan fumed.
The Rugby World Cup is set to end on October 28, which could mean schedule changes for one more week.
Viewers have been glued to the edge of their seats in the aftermath of Stephen Reid’s death after Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) mowed him over with his car.
Stephen (played by Todd Boyce) finally got his comeuppance after months of terrorising the Weatherfield residents.
The serial killer was attempting to flee the country but realised Jenny Bradley (Sally Ann Matthews) had his passport.
Peter was arrested on Monday’s episode and was grilled by police over his actions on Tuesday’s instalment.
The actor is bowing out of his role so it’s yet to be seen whether he goes to prison or if he manages to flee in time.
Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV at 8pm
