A BBC NEWSREADER has shared a hilarious response after she was called out for 'fake typing' during a show.
Presenter Pam Caulfield left viewers in stitches at the end of her Points West bulletin on Sunday.
Pam wrapped the show by pretending to type on her laptop in the studio as the camera cut away from her.
But after being called out by viewers, and even the Beeb, she'sresponded to the hilarious clip.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, the journalist shared a picture of her pretending to play the piano.
Pam joked: "I can also do fake piano playing…"

Viewers had reacted in their droves on social media to Pam's blunder as one said: "10/10 for the fake typing!"
A second wrote: "Typing out tonight’s headlines a load of gibberish."
"Wonder what she’s writing, there," said a third.

Pam's slip up wasn't the only blunder the Beeb made this week as they were slammed for a mortifying mistake with a map graphic.
Newsnight presenterKirsty Wark had welcomed journalist Mark Urban and former British Ambassador to the U.S. Sir Kim Darroch to discuss Hamas and the escalating war in Israel.
To illustrate his discussion of how Iran could fit into the possible conflict, Mark asked for a map to be made visible on the screen.
One quickly came up behind Sir Kim, showing Lebanon, Syria, Israel, Iran and Iraq.
However, there was a huge mistake on the screen that Mark thankfully caught.
“Iraq and Iran – I think the labels have been put the wrong way round there,” he explained.
