Harry Kane reveals England aiming to 'do something magical' at Euro 2028 as he targets 'dream come true' at Wembley | The Sun

HARRY KANE has targeted winning Euro 2028 at Wembley to heal the pain of 2021.

The UK and Ireland were yesterday confirmed by Uefa as tournament hosts and the England star revealed his determination to still be involved in five years’ time.

And he has vowed to end England’s Euros hoodoo at Wembley which saw them lose the 1996 semi-final to Germany and the delayed 2020 final to Italy.

Skipper Kane, 30, said: “We were so close to doing something really magical in the last Euros.

“It didn’t end the way we wanted but there will be a bit between our teeth.

“Being at home and playing games at Wembley will bring back memories of 2021.

"To win a tournament would be special but to win in your home country would be a dream come true.”

Kane met Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at the FA’s St George’s Park HQ as the five-nation bid was confirmed, with the semi-finals and the final at Wembley.

The Bayern Munich forward added: “Having full stadiums and all our fans there, the country excited about it will definitely help.

“You saw that with the Lionesses at Euro 2022. I was there for the final and saw how much it meant to the fans.
