ARSENE WENGER says he rejected FOUR lucrative offers to leave Arsenal, for Real Madrid and Barcelona.
And delighted fans claimed the club “flows in his veins” following Wenger’s stunning revelation.
The Frenchman spent 22 years at the helm of Arsenal between 1996 and 2018.
Wenger delivered numerous trophies including three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups.
And he was crowned Manager of the Season on no less than three occasions while also being the only boss to oversee an unbeaten campaign.
As such, Wenger attracted plenty of interest from rival clubs – with former player Aaron Ramsey spilling the beans on “lucrative offers” last month.

When asked how many times he could have left for either club, Wenger said: “Real Madrid, two or three times.
“And Barcelona, yes once.”
Wenger’s revelation led to plenty of praise from fans.
