This high-street fashion brand was the go-to for celebs at the NTAs last night

When it comes to red carpets we expect to see celebrities strutting their stuff in expensive designer gowns, but it seems that for this year’sNational Television Awards, plenty of TV stars opted for an altogether more affordable brand.

High-street favourite Karen Millen was the designer of choice for several big TV personalities, withKate Garraway,Molly Marsh,Helen Flanaganand Ruby Adler all donning outfits from the brand as they attended the awards ceremony.

From power suits to beaded gowns, there was no shortage of head turning looks from the affordable brand, which is known for offering luxurious-looking ensembles at a more affordable price.

Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway wore a white trouser suit for the evening, as she took to the stage to present the award for Authored Documentary.

Her stunning white ensemble was made up of the Karen Millen Drape Detail Belted Soft Blazer, £175.20 here (was £219), and the Pleat Detail Wide Leg Trouser, £111.20 here (was £139), which she accessorised with an oversized white corsage with glittering silver trim attached to to the belt of her jacket.

A trouser suit is the perfect alternative to a dress, as it not only makes you stand out from the crowd but also means you can mix and match it with other items to create multiple different outfits.

Kate wasn’t the only one who wowed in white, as Molly Marsh opted for a beaded white dress for the occasion.

The formerLove Islandstar wore Karen Millen’s Petite Floral Applique Woven Strappy Maxi Dress, £233.40 here (was £389), which is covered in gorgeous applique details including silver beads and floaty petal-inspired tassels, making it the perfect dress for a red carpet.

Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan opted for a slightly more understated but no less chic outfit, as she wore the Karen Millen Premium Georgette Bandeau Maxi Dress, £185.40 here (was £309), for the awards ceremony.

The khaki-coloured floor-length gown is made from a lightweight georgette fabric that flows effortlessly, with a fitted bandeau neckline with fold-over details that made it perfect for the soaring temperatures that celebs were dealing with whilst walking the red carpet.

Made in Chelsea’sRuby Adler was also prepared for the weather, as she wore the Hot Fix Open Back Jersey Maxi Dress, £71 here (was £119) , which has sheer cutout details down one side and an open back with elaborate strappy details, making it ideal for staying cool in the heatwave that the UK is currently dealing with.

Ruby styled her dress with barely there stiletto heels and a slicked back ponytail, looking effortlessly chic as she headed into the NTAs.

As it turns out, you don’t need a designer budget to look red-carpet ready, and we’ll be snapping up some of these affordable looks ready for our next event.
