THEY say it's not a problem to go for a bikini wax when you're on your period.
But Chanel found out the hard way that sometimes, in rare situations, that's not the case.
She took to TikTok to share her mortifying story, as she began: "I just finished my first Brazilian. As you can see, I was crying in there.
"Before I got it done I unexpectedly got my period.
"So I asked her, 'Hey, can I do this? I've got my period and I kind of don't want to – can I just reschedule?'
"And she was like, 'No it's fine, just wear a tampon. It's fine'."

Chanel also said that she "knew it wasn't going to be fine!"
When the beautician got to work, she accidentally caught the tampon string with the wax and ended up accidentally "ripped it out".
"My tampon flew in the air and hit me in the face," Chanel said, red-faced.
"And there was blood splattered on the wall behind me. It was really embarrassing!"

She added that she's "so unlucky" that it's the first time she'd got her period in a year.
"I can never go back there!" Chanel concluded.
"even if they say its ok DO NOT DO IT," she added in her video caption.
People were quick to comment on Chanel's video admission, with one writing: "You couldn’t waterboard this info out of me!"
"She pull started you like a lawnmower," another laughed.
" I would have died if I was either of you!"
"Only my therapist would know this," a third commented.
To which Chanel replied: "My therapist ghosted me so this app is all I have!"
"As a waxer, this should have never happened," someone else wrote.
"I’m sorry you had to go through this."
