Anton du Beke on whether he prefers to sleep alone or with his wife
Strictly Come Dancing judge Anton Du Beke, who typically keeps chat to matters of the ballroom floor, has given a cheeky glimpse into his home life with his wife Hannah Summers.
The TV favourite chatted to Kaye Adams on her How To Be 60 with Kaye Adams podcast. When Kaye asked whether he preferred to sleep alone or with someone, Anton replied: “No, I prefer it with my wife.”
He then launched into why that was, saying: “I tell you what I like to do,” he continued. “Obviously, what we like to do before we go to bed is have a special cuddle, just saying, and that will take a couple of minutes.
“I sleep on this side and my wife sleeps on my left side and I like just to put my hand on her bottom.”
“On a naked bottom?” asked Kaye. To which the ex-pro-dancer replied: “Oh yeah, naturally.

“If she’s laying away from me [I rest my hand] on the right cheek and so if I have to sleep on my own it’s not the same.”
This isn’t the first time Anton has shared his affection for his wife publicly, although previously it’s been because of a decidedly more serious reason.
The dancer spoke about the trials of becoming a parent on the Parenting Hell podcast, where he called Hannah “practically perfect” and lamented the irony that she wasn’t able to conceive naturally because she has endometriosis.
Anton, 56, became a father for the first time in March 2017 when he and wife Hannah, 46, had their twins, George and Henrietta.

“She’s everything I thought she would be,” he said. “I thought she’d be an excellent mum, always knew she’d be a great mum but she couldn’t have children.”
Anton then went on to discuss the IVF process, saying: “We were enormously fortunate as we had one go…”
Hannah is a successful businesswoman who works as the chief marketing officer at a leading mobile network security company AdaptiveMobile.
The couple reportedly first met at a golf club in 2011 and dated for six years before they got married in 2017.
In 2016, the couple excitedly announced they were expecting twins and Hannah gave birth the same year they tied the knot.
