MICs Olivia Bentley says not wanting kids should be normalised amid new romance

Reality TV legend Olivia Bentley wants to "normalise" the prospect of adults in their 20s and 30s not making plans to have children.

The Made in Chelsea star insists she's refusing to be pressured by society to take those expected next steps in life, whether that be getting married or having kids.

Speaking to Grazia, Liv admitted: "It's so interesting, when I tell people I maybe don't want to have kids they're always so shocked. Even when you say it out loud people are like, 'What?'."

"All my friends are having babies at the moment, and I love seeing them with their kids but for me, I'm so far from that," she shared. "I can't even see that happening to me in the next five years – and I don't think that's because of my breakup with [ex boyfriend] Tristan [Phipps]."

Liv's declaration comes just weeks after gal pal Tiffany Watson welcomed a her baby boy, Jude, with boyfriend Cameron McGeehan, and co-star Sophie Habboo tied the knot with fellow MIC favourite Jamie Laing.

Tiff's older sister and Chelsea alum Lucy Watson also announced that she and husband James Dunmore are expecting their first child together.

Explaining her decision, Liv admitted: "I think it's just because I'm not in a rush. When I was younger, I used to really want loads of kids and the married life and all that sort of stuff. Whereas now, my priorities have kind of changed and I really want to develop my business, JOMO London."

Liv also opened up on a conversation she'd had with co-star ex Tristan, 25, from whom she split in May this year after an on-off romance, reportedly having told him she doesn't think she wants children in the future.

Despite this, Liv confessed she's open to the idea of finding "the right person" to welcome a family with, before quickly adding, "but right now for me it's a no" and insisting: "I think feeling this way should be normalised."

And fans have been left wondering if her "right person" could be co-star Hugo Mackenzie-Wood, amid rumours that the two have taken their friendship to the next level.

Liv posted some cosy snaps of the duo together on Instagram yesterday, where she could be seen placing a tender hand on his face and laughing at the camera, whilst he rested his hand on her leg.

In the second snap, she pulled his head into her neck and both of them looked very at-ease in each other's company.

Her fans were elated by Olivia's apparent new romance, as one commented: "WE LOVE A ‘LIV IN LOVE."

A second wrote: "I hope you’ve found love again, if not that you do in time x," as a third said: "Yesss, love this!!"
