Kerry Katona is “scared” to have a baby with her fiancé Ryan Mahoney, 34, due to her past relationships.
The reality star is a mum to five children from three different relationships, with her two eldest, Molly, 22, and Lilly-Sue, 20, shared with first husband Brian McFadden.
In her latest column for OK! Magazine, Kerry, 43, expressed her sympathy towards Chloe Madeley and James Haskell, who recently announced they had split just a year after welcoming their first child together.
In part of an ITV documentary based on the pair, Richard Madeley’s daughter is seen taking issue with James as he sets off to Ibiza to DJ while she stays home with their daughter Bodhi.
Kerry said she knows all too well about the situation as she claimed Brian was away from home a lot when they were together, due to his commitments with Westlife.

“I know how difficult it is,” she wrote. “My first husband was away on tour a lot in the early days.
In a swipe at her exes, she added: “I’ve raised all five of my children alone and sometimes I don’t know how I did it.
“Ryan and I sometimes chat about kids but, honestly, everyone I’ve had a child with has left me, so that scares me. But Ryan is such an amazing stepdad to all of them.”
Kerry now believes the “next stage” of her life regarding children will be when she becomes a grandma.
The ex-Atomic Kitten star and Brian were married for four years from 2002 to 2006.
Earlier this year, she claimed he was a “s**t” dad to her daughters, which reportedly left him “fuming”.

The singer didn’t respond to her comments publicly, but took to Instagram to wish Molly a happy birthday shortly afterwards.
Kerry has previously said their marriage was “fake” and “phoney” in an interview with The Mirror and claimed her daughters ring Ryan for their needs, before they ring him.
The columnist has three other children; 16-year-old Heidi (who has publicly taken her mum’s surname Katona) and Maxwell, 12, with ex-husband Mark Croft and Dylan-Jorge, eight, with late ex spouse George Kay.
In March, Kerry said Ryan, a personal trainer, was set to adopt her youngest, following the loss of her dad aged 39 in 2019.
Kerry said Dylan wanted to start calling her husband-to-be “dad” as she didn’t remember George due to her age.
She added: “She doesn’t remember her biological father, George, so I think if it’s something she wants to do, then that’s completely up to her.”
In the same column, Kerry said her and Ryan wouldn’t be getting married anytime soon, but that when they did it would be “a shotgun wedding in Vegas”.
The pair got engaged back in 2020, two years into their relationship after reportedly meeting on a dating app.
