Holly Willoughby\u2019s final words toThis Morning viewers before she stepped back from the show have been revealed, after the presenterannounced that she\u2019d quit the ITV show. <\/p>\n
The TV star, 42, who joined the This Morning sofa 14 years ago,took to Instagram to announce that she was saying goodbye to the popular daytime show and that she\u2019d made the decision for \u201cme and my family\u201d <\/p>\n
Holly\u2019s shock announcement,which has seen her be supported by her co-stars, means that her last show on This Morning dates back to Wednesday 4 October where she was joined by co-presenter Josie Gibson.<\/p>\n

As the pair finished off the episode, Holly told viewers at home that she\u2019d \u201cSee you tomorrow\u201d, though she never returned back on air afterreportedly being put on \u201cindefinite leave\u201d by This Morning following an alleged plot to "kidnap and murder" her. <\/p>\n
As she announced the news that she was leaving the show after over a decade, Holly wrote on Instagram: \u201cThis is such a difficult goodbye, you are incredible and I forever will be proud of what we\u2019ve done together. Thank you to everyone at ITV for being supportive. To every guest who has sat on our sofa, thank you.<\/p>\n
\u201cMost of all, thank you to the wonderful viewers. You\u2019ve been so loyal, so supportive and the very best company every day.<\/p>\n

\u201cRichard and Judy said \u2018we only look after this show, it will always belong to the viewers\u2019. It\u2019s been an honour to just be part of its story and I know this story has many chapters left to go.<\/p>\n
\u201cSadly, however, I now feel I have to make this decision for me and my family. I will miss you all so much.\u201d<\/p>\n
In response,ITV released a statement sharing that it is looking forward to working with Holly again \u201cin the future\u201d. <\/p>\n
In the statement, Kevin Lygo, managing director of media and entertainment at ITV, paid tribute to the star and said: "We are sad that Holly is leaving This Morning, but respect her decision which we know will have been extremely difficult for her to make.<\/p>\n

"Holly is one of the best loved, respected and most accomplished broadcasters in the UK. She has been at the heart of This Morning for the past 14 years, and she is adored by our viewers.<\/p>\n
"Holly has brought her unique brand of warmth, energy, humour and fun to one of the country\u2019s most popular daytime shows, and everyone on the programme will miss her enormously.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, famous faces have shown their support for Holly, with the likes of Alison Hammond, Dermot O\u2019Leary and Rochelle Humes all gushing over the TV presenter. <\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a very sad day ! Love you,\u201d wrote Alison. \u201cWe will miss you so very much my darling,\u201d added Vanessa Feltz.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
