STRICTLY Come Dancing pro James Jordan has slammed Shirley Ballas for giving Eddie Kadi the first 10 of the series.<\/p>\n

The head judge, 63, handed the huge score to Eddie Kadi after his impressive Men In Black performance with\u00a0Karen Hauer, which was their couple\u2019s choice.<\/p>\n

Shirley said: "When you do something well, it needs rewarding. This was slick, it had style, it was edgy, it was entertaining, you found your groove.<\/p>\n

"Everything that you love in dance you were able to bring today as a partnership, I absolutely loved it."<\/p>\n

Comedian Eddie and Karen were completely gobsmacked by the score.<\/p>\n

And so was former Strictly star James, 45, who said there were "three better dances" before Eddie's performance that deserved higher scores. <\/p>\n

After Eddie's performance, James wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: "No Shirley – what were you thinking???<\/p>\n

"Three better dances already tonight. FACT not opinion<\/span>."<\/p>\n

His comment divided fans, with one commenting: "What we see on TV is different to what the judges see as they are so close and can see every little move. FACT!!!"<\/p>\n

But James hit back and wrote: "OK – I'm sure you know how the show works better than I do," with a string of laughing emojis<\/span> and a thumbs up emoji.<\/p>\n

While many fans agreed with James and said the early 10 was a surprise.<\/p>\n

One wrote: "Agree, not worth a 10…scores are all over the place this week."<\/p>\n

Another posted: "I'm so sad how Strictly is becoming pointless<\/span>. Judging and scoring makes zero sense."<\/p>\n

A third added: "Absolutely agree, that was never a 10. Angela and Amanda to name two must be raging."<\/p>\n

Eddie, 40, dedicated the dance to his family who migrated from the Democratic Republic of Congo.<\/p>\n

He said he had a "whole other level of respect for street dance" after his performance.<\/p>\n

Those watching at home were left fuming by the decision and accused Shirley of having a favourite, while also calling for couple\u2019s choice to be axed.<\/p>\n

In a move away from traditional ballroom style, in 2018 Strictly introduced dance category called the Couple\u2019s Choice.<\/p>\n
