Eagled-eyed viewers of Channel 4 show Married At First Sight claim to have figured out that Brad Skelly left the experiment early.

Brad and his telly bride Shona Manderson's relationship has recently been embroiled in drama, as worries about his "controlling" behaviour were voiced by MAFS fans.

And it now appears 27-year-old Brad may have actually left the show early, with online sleuths noticing the star went quiet on social media for only a month. Filming for the whole series would usually take place over 10 weeks, and contestants aren't allowed to post any updates online in that time. This could mean Brad bowed out around halfway through.

One viewer commented: “Obvious from your socials you left early, you were supposed to be busy for 10 weeks and a month later you’d left the programme.”

The speculation comes soon after another MAFS groom revealed to the Sunday Mirror that he had also quit the show.

Nathanial Valentino, who was paired up with the show's first transgender bride Ella Morgan, hit out at the bosses, branding the programme a "sham". Nathanial said he felt "manipulated" by producers, and accused them of stirring the pot between couples for drama.

The events manager also claimed that the show has no interest in couples really finding love, despite what we see on TV.

"[They] were like goblins whispering in people’s ears. I’d be having a great conversation with Ella, she would be pulled away and, five minutes later, we’d have an argument," he said.

As of Friday 6 October, both Brad and Nathanial were still on our screens.

This week, MAFS fans branded Brad a "bully" after he got frustrated at Shona for being upset that the other couples didn't think they were genuine.

Brad snapped at the 31-year-old, telling her she needed "external validation". "You need to let it go," he barked.

Then, when Shona attempted to add to the conversation, Brad told her to "shut up".

Taking to social media, one concerned viewer wrote: “Controlling, bossy, bully – the real Brad is coming out. Shona tell him bye.” Another added: "Brad showing his true colours as a manipulative bully tonight.”

As the episode aired, model Brad took to social media to claim the edit only showed "snippets" of the true story. He shared a picture of himself in bed covering his face, with the caption, "That edit was difficult to watch."

He added: "Always remember you are only seeing snippets for drama. Try not to have an emotional resilience to a person you have never sat down and had a conversation with physically."
