A CLEANING technician has shared how they bring battered trainers back to life with ZERO scrubbing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The method is so effective that it can remove any dirt or stains even after huge outdoor events, such as a muddy run.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n<\/p>\n

The owner of Polished Gems, a cleaning technician in Durham, took to Facebook group Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips to spill all of their professional secrets.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was my trainers after a colour run charity event and a week's worth of cleaning tenancies,\u201d they said. \u201cThey were rotten.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is how I wash all the trainers in my house weekly.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cRub in Original Fairy Washing Up Liquid into the fabric and leave for a couple of minutes.<\/p>\n

\u201cSpray with Pink Stuff Stain Remover and do nothing other than leave for five minutes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Once The Pink Stuff has had time to work its magic, they go in the washing machine.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the wash they go,\u201d the cleaning expert instructed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWith a fairy washing pod and a dishwasher tablet. I use Fairy Platinum.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a one hour wash on a 40 degree cycle.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cNo scrubbing, no elbow grease. I\u2019ve had these trainers for three years and still wear them daily for my cleaning job.\u201d<\/p>\n

The cleaning hack should cost about 20p worth of products.<\/p>\n

People were seriously impressed with the before and after pictures and vowed to give the method a go.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m keeping this,\u201d one said. \u201cHoly moly, they\u2019re like new.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWow, that's awesome,\u201d another penned. \u201cI'm so doing this.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWow they look perfect, like just out of the box perfect,\u201d a third weighed in.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Polished Gems\u2019 owner hilariously responded: \u201cThey would [look brand new] if they didn\u2019t have holes in the front from wear and tear.\u201d<\/p>\n

The cleaning expert added that the trainers come out of the wash better when they\u2019re not placed inside a pillow case, contrary to popular opinion.<\/p>\n

However, some people were concerned about putting a dishwasher tablet in your washing machine.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know some people advise against dishwasher tablets in washing machines, absolutely personal choice,\u201d Polished Gems said.<\/p>\n
