CONTINUOUS has what it takes to win what looks a fairly modest renewal of the Prix De L\u2019Arc De Triomphe by the great race\u2019s high standards.<\/p>\n

Secondly, it\u2019s only a fortnight between the Leger and Paris.<\/p>\n

Yet those are relatively minor worries in that Aidan O\u2019Brien won\u2019t run him in France if he doesn\u2019t think the colt is ready.<\/p>\n

But even if Arrest and Co are slightly below the highest level, Continuous absolutely hammered them at York and Doncaster.<\/p>\n

Paddy Power have boosted my pick to 9-1 from 8s and that looks more than fair\u2026 although it might be worth waiting to make sure he\u2019s supplemented first.<\/p>\n

Looking at his rivals, favourite Ace Impact warrants plenty of respect having won the French Derby so well before following up at Deauville.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not a given that he\u2019ll get the extra quarter-mile although he\u2019s likely to.<\/p>\n

Hukum could be a bigger threat after his gutsy King George VI win at Ascot last time. We know he stays and the ground will be in his favour.<\/p>\n

He\u2019d be the pick should Continuous not turn up.<\/p>\n

But Continuous is likely to take another step forward and is clearly up to Arc-winning standard.<\/p>\n
