Ariana Grande and her estranged husband, Dalton Gomez have officially filed for divorce, according to TMZ.

According to the report, Grande filed first in Los Angeles County court on Monday, September 18, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

In July, news broke that Grande and Gomez were parting ways after two years of marriage.

Grande began dating Gomez, a real estate agent, in January 2020. While mostly private, their relationship was made public in the music video for her and Justin Bieber‘s charity single “Stuck With U”.

After 11 months of dating, Grande announced their engagement on December 20, 2020. The pair tied the knot on May 15, 2021 in a private ceremony at her home in Montecito, California.

Since their separation, Grande has been rumored to be dating her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater. Slater, who starred on Broadway as the titular character in the SpongeBob SquarePants musical, was previously married to singer Lilly Jay.
