A BELOVED Cornish ice cream parlour is set to close its door after the landlord decided to sell the property.<\/p>\n
Moomaid of Zennor Ice Cream Parlour has been operating for four years outside of Falmouth.<\/p>\n

The family run business posted on Facebook: "Obviously we are very sad to lose the caf\u00e9 \u2013 we have put a lot of work into it over the past four years and have been blown away by the support from our loyal customers. <\/p>\n
"It is especially hard given it's in Moomaid\u2019s home village and was, we hope, a nice addition for our small community.<\/p>\n
"Moving forward\u2026 We are working on ideas to get scooping Moomaid again in our home village and hope to have news<\/span> for you very soon."<\/p>\n The popular ice cream venue will shut its doors for good on September 24, but other franchises in Porthowan, St Just and St Ives will remain open.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The family run business makes their luxury ice cream on their own parlour on Tremedda farm in West Cornwall, and has been through four generations.<\/p>\n The cows are housed in the winter and remain outside from February to October if weather permits – making for happy cows and great ice cream.<\/p>\n In their parlour in Zennor, they serve coffees, teas, sandwiches, homemade cakes, cream teas sundaes and of course – ice cream.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\nREAD MORE IN MONEY<\/span><\/h2>\n
