RUSSELL Brand's business empire is in tatters as he rushes to close down one company and is ditched by his business partners of two others, The Sun can reveal.

The under-fire comic first made a last ditch move to close one of his companies last week just days before he was accused of rape and sexual assault by five women.

He and his wife Laura rushed to strike off their joint company Brand New Collective Ltd on September 12, days before the abuse allegations were made public, according to Companies House records.

It states that the nature of business is "licensed restaurants, take away food, buying and selling of real estate, artistic creation".

Brand, who denies the allegations, has also closed off his pub The Crown Inn in Pishill, Oxfordshire, which he owns with Laura, having fencing installed and hiring security guards, locals claimed on Monday morning.

Today, The Sun can reveal he has been terminated as director of movie company Mayfair Film Partnership Limited – worth £729,700 – and resigned as director of One Arm Bandit Limited – worth £61,031 – which is described as providing "support activities to performing arts".

It comes as YouTube suspended adverts on Brand's channel following the allegations – for "violating our Creator Responsibility policy" – potentially losing him £1 million a year in earnings.

Brand was a director of Mayfair Film Partnership and One Arm Bandit with his former managers John and Nik Linnen of John Noel Management.

Nik Linnen was even best man at his wedding to Katy Perry – but it seems the pair have now distanced themselves from the comic and are no longer in business with him.

John Linnen said he could not comment for "legal reasons" when approached by The Sun.
