Jacquie Beltrao has shared an update with fans as she went for her latest breast cancer scan – and it is a positive outcome.<\/p>\n
The sports presenter, who was first diagnosed in 2013 before having a mastectomy, uploaded a video on her Instagram profile saying that there is ‘no evidence of the disease.’<\/p>\n
She wrote: “Scan results are in – it\u2019s very good news again – I\u2019m super lucky I know that – no evidence of disease at all.<\/p>\n
“I\u2019m never certain of these results and don\u2019t take them lightly because they are a gift that loads of people don\u2019t get. Because their treatment doesn\u2019t play ball or their body doesn\u2019t.<\/p>\n
“Mine has for now and the Beltrao supporters club at home are thrilled that I\u2019ve been so fortunate.”<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The former Olympic gymnast has been working as a sports presenter for Sky for over 30 years.<\/p>\n She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013 and underwent a mastectomy and reconstruction.<\/p>\n However, during lockdown in 2020 she found a lump just below her collarbone that was the size of a grain of rice.<\/p>\n Doctors told her that it was stage four breast cancer and much more aggressive. Yet, within weeks of taking the olaparib therapy drug, Jacquie was told that the disease had slowed down.<\/p>\n In June 2021, she was informed that the cancer was completely gone and has since been cancer free ever since.<\/p>\n
