Salford City F.C. is co-owned by former football players Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs, Phil Neville, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt, and David Beckham, and Singaporean businessman Peter Lim, who has a majority share in the team.<\/p>\n

The former football stars are often referred to as "The Class of 92" as they all got their start as part of Manchester United's academy during the early nineties.<\/p>\n
