MEGHAN Markle has shared an emotional message about family as she takes to the stage in Harry's Netflix doc.<\/p>\n
The Duchess of Sussex, 42, opened the games in the Netherlands by paying tribute to the "service" and "dedication" from the veterans' loved ones.<\/p>\n
\n<\/p>\n
The new show explores the life of injured and ill military veterans who take part in\u00a0the\u00a0Paralympic-style\u00a0Invictus Games.<\/p>\n
And in the fourth episode – titled Heart of Invictus – Meghan thanked the family and friends of the former soldiers taking part.<\/p>\n
Meghan said: "Thank you so much for your service and thank you to all the family and friends who are here supporting you along the way.<\/p>\n
"Because this is service, this is dedication and this is the Invictus family."<\/p>\n

The new\u00a0doc hit screens at 8am today, after Harry surprised veterans at the premiere.<\/p>\n
In an earlier episode Prince Harry spoke of the importance of family and how he didn't have the support from his own, after Princess Diana died. <\/p>\n
The Duke of Sussex says he was left "lying in the foetal position" and "bouncing off walls"\u00a0as he spoke about his mental health struggles.<\/p>\n
He said: "I can only speak from my personal experience – My tour of Afghanistan in 2011 flying apaches.<\/p>\n
<\/picture>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/picture>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/picture>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/picture>\n <\/span><\/p>\n "Somewhere after that there was an unraveling and the trigger to me was returning from Afghanistan.<\/p>\n "But the stuff that was coming up was from 1997 – from the age of 12.<\/p>\n "Losing my mum at such a young age the trauma that I had I was never really aware of."<\/p>\n The royals also revealed chats\u00a0he's had with son Archie about what the youngster wants to be\u00a0when he grows up.<\/p>\n In a moving speech at the beginning of the five-part doc, Harry revealed conversations he'd had with son Archie.<\/p>\n Speaking to athletes at the\u00a0Invictus Games, which he founded for wounded soldiers,\u00a0Harry\u00a0said what would make him proud of young\u00a0Archie.<\/p>\n The Duke told the crowd: "When I talk to my son Archie about what he wants to be when he grows up, some days it\u2019s an astronaut, other days it\u2019s a pilot.<\/p>\n "But what I remind him is no matter what you want to be when you grow up, it\u2019s your character that matters most.<\/p>\n "And nothing would make his mum and me prouder than to see him have the character of what we see before us today – you."<\/p>\n It comes after he surprised cinema goers at the California premiere.<\/p>\n The Duke\u00a0joked with fans and veterans at the release of his latest project.<\/p>\n Harry appeared at the showing at a cinema in Chula Vista in San Diego county on Monday night, reports Hello!.<\/p>\n After the screening he posed for pictures with viewers and wellwishers after speaking to the crowd.<\/p>\n He joked: "Nice to see you all. It's nice of you to dress up for the occasion. [No]\u00a0Suits\u00a0and ties?"<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n He then added: "I wanted to say a huge thank you for coming out tonight. You guys get to see Heart of Invictus, which has been the last two years in the making, sooner than anybody else.\u00a0<\/p>\n "It will be coming out on Wednesday, you guys get to watch it tonight – well, at least two episodes, to sort of whet the appetite for the rest of it."<\/p>\nHarry makes moving speech about son Archie on new Netflix doc<\/h3>\n<\/section>\n
