<\/p>\nTHEY say it's not a problem to go for a bikini wax when you're on your period. <\/p>\n
But Chanel found out the hard way that sometimes, in rare situations, that's not the case. <\/p>\n
\n<\/p>\n
She took to TikTok to share her mortifying story, as she began: "I just finished my first Brazilian. As you can see, I was crying in there. <\/p>\n
"Before I got it done I unexpectedly got my period.<\/p>\n
"So I asked her, 'Hey, can I do this? I've got my period and I kind of don't want to – can I just reschedule?'<\/p>\n
"And she was like, 'No it's fine, just wear a tampon. It's fine'."<\/p>\n

Chanel also said that she "knew it wasn't going to be fine!"<\/p>\n
When the beautician got to work, she accidentally caught the tampon string with the wax and ended up accidentally "ripped it out". <\/p>\n
"My tampon flew in the air and hit me in the face," Chanel said, red-faced. <\/p>\n
"And there was blood splattered on the wall behind me. It was really embarrassing!"<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n She added that she's "so unlucky" that it's the first time she'd got her period in a year.<\/p>\n "I can never go back there!" Chanel concluded.<\/p>\n "even if they say its ok DO NOT DO IT," she added in her video caption.<\/p>\n People were quick to comment on Chanel's video admission, with one writing: "You couldn\u2019t waterboard this info out of me!"<\/p>\n "She pull started you like a lawnmower," another laughed. <\/p>\n " I would have died if I was either of you!"<\/p>\n "Only my therapist would know this," a third commented. <\/p>\n To which Chanel replied: "My therapist ghosted me so this app is all I have!"<\/p>\n "As a waxer, this should have never happened," someone else wrote. <\/p>\n "I\u2019m sorry you had to go through this."<\/p>\n Another person asked how the waxer reacted, with Chanel responding: "She had no reaction lol <\/p>\n "She just took it from me and threw it out."<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/newspress-collage-23663991-1693036191723.jpg\")
