A CLEANING pro has revealed the three common mistakes that many people make when cleaning their bathroom.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So if you want your home to shine, you\u2019ll need to pay attention.<\/p>\n

Posting online, the 23-year-old cleaning whizz, who is known on social media as \u2018The Amateur Cleaner\u2019, has shared the things you need to stop doing when cleaning your bathroom.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cThree cleaning mistakes you are making in your bathroom.\u201d<\/p>\n

Firstly, she explained that you mustn't clean mirrors with the light off, as she noted: \u201cLeaving the light on while cleaning the mirror.\u201d<\/p>\n

Secondly, according to this woman, it\u2019s time to ditch microfiber cloths when it comes to getting your loo clean, as she continued: \u201cUsing reusable cloths for toilets.\u201d<\/p>\n

Finally, if you mop the floor around your toilet, you\u2019ll need to pay attention, as the cleaner advised: \u201cDon\u2019t mop around your toilet! Use wipes!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

When asked: \u201cWhy turn off the lights to clean the mirror?\u201d, the cleaning whizz replied \u201cTo prevent streaks! The heat from the light makes streaks!\u201d<\/p>\n

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @theamateurcleaner, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed a whopping 344,200 views.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Social media users were thankful for the advice and were eager to share this in the comments.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, someone else disagreed and commented: \u201cUsing cloths is way better, since paper towels and wipes aren't eco friendly.\u201d<\/p>\n

To this, the cleaning fan replied: \u201cWashing machines are not eco friendly!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Not only this, but the TikToker also revealed that there\u2019s three places in your home where you should never use a microfiber cloth.<\/p>\n

According to the cleaning expert, microfiber cloths shouldn\u2019t be used on toilets, sinks and floors.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She explained: \u201cThe problem is when you clean, the cloths\u2019 bacteria gets trapped in the fibres and you may use it on another surface.<\/p>\n

\u201cI worked in infection control. This is common knowledge in the cleaning world.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also explained: \u201cThese spots are the dirtiest place in your home.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI have a lot of training in infection control and I could never.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis tip is mostly for bathroom floors. I always use disposable as there is a lot of pee on the floor.<\/p>\n

\u201cI use paper towels for toilets and floors. Then for sinks I spray Lysol before I clean with a sponge. Then rinse.\u201d<\/p>\n
