ZAC Efron's travel show, Down to Earth, has been cancelled after just two episodes aired from the second season, leaving the star crushed. <\/p>\n
The Netflix series premiered back in 2020 and followed the actor\u00a0as he travelled around the world visiting locations like\u00a0France, Puerto Rico, Iceland and Peru. <\/p>\n

The 35-year-old lived in an eco-village, learnt about potato cryopreservation and discovered more about\u00a0London\u2019s pollution-reduction efforts.<\/p>\n
He travelled to exotic locations to focus on environmental and energy issues while satisfying his personal wanderlust. <\/p>\n
The second season saw him explore in Australia, however, the CW network have cancelled the series with only two episodes gone to air.<\/p>\n
This is because of the poor viewer numbers, with the second episode attracting only 232,000 viewers, the second lowest ever recorded by the network.<\/p>\n

The High School Musical star was left devastated as he faces a career setback. <\/p>\n
A source told the National Enquirer: "To find out so few people were interested was crushing. He\u2019s [Zac] taking it really hard. That is the biggest blow about getting cancelled \u2013 Zac enjoys travelling."<\/p>\n
In 2021 Zac won the first Emmy of his career for the show, taking home the award for Outstanding Daytime Program Host for his role on the series.<\/p>\n
Zac took to social media to thank his fans and the production team on the travel series. <\/p>\n
