Heidi Klum<\/strong> is correcting a \u201ccrap\u201d narrative about her eating habits.<\/p>\n Klum, 50, addressed headlines about her supposed restrictive diet via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, August 22, sharing screenshots of articles from earlier that day. She asserted that she doesn\u2019t \u201conly take in 900 calories\u201d daily, despite reports otherwise.<\/p>\n \u201cOne, I want to say, I don\u2019t think I\u2019ve ever had to count my calories in my life, [so] don\u2019t believe everything that you read. \u2026 I don\u2019t count my calories,\u201d Klum said.<\/p>\n Klum went on to explain why she showed fans her weight during a recent Instagram Story Q&A. \u201cSomeone asked me how much I weigh, and I got on the scale and showed how much I weighed,\u201d she continued. \u201cI don\u2019t know, people just put things together and just write a bunch of crap. \u2026 It\u2019s really sad.\u201d<\/p>\n The supermodel reassured her followers that she didn\u2019t want anyone to \u201cpossibly follow\u201d certain habits simply because they read about them online. \u201cThat\u2019s not good,\u201d she concluded.<\/p>\n Klum\u2019s response came shortly after the Daily Mail<\/em> reported that she hosted a Q&A for her Instagram audience on Sunday, August 20, in which she hopped on a scale to show that she weighs approximately 138 pounds. When asked how she maintains her fit physique, Klum reportedly said that her go-to breakfast \u2014 three poached eggs cooked in warm chicken broth \u2014 makes up part of her daily calories.<\/p>\n Klum has previously claimed that she doesn\u2019t often follow a specific diet. \u201cI just eat very healthfully,\u201d she told Entertainment Tonight<\/em> in 2018. \u201cI start with great smoothies in the morning. I also have four children, so we cook a lot. I don\u2019t really eat out a lot. I think when you eat out a lot or order food in a lot it gets a little tricky because you don\u2019t know what people are putting in there.\u201d<\/p>\n Klum shares kids Leni, 19, Henry, 17, Johan, 16 and Lou, 13, with ex-husband Seal<\/strong>. The former couple were married from 2005 to 2014. Klum later moved on with now-husband Tom Kaulitz<\/strong>, whom she wed in 2019.<\/p>\n Along with discussing her wellness regimen in her recent Q&A, Klum spoke candidly about her relationship with Kaulitz \u2014 and their 16-year age gap.
