IONA STEPHEN once had dreams of becoming a professional golfer only for a wrist injury to stop her.<\/strong><\/p>\n She is now working in the sport as a presenter for Sky Sports.<\/p>\n Iona regularly fronts the broadcaster's coverage of the DP World Tour and majors such as The Open and The Masters.<\/p>\n However, she had once aspired to have been on the other side as a professional golfer.<\/p>\n In a heartfelt Instagram post, Iona revealed what she went through to get to where she is now.<\/p>\n She wrote: "I guess the lesson is\u2026whatever life throws at you, keep going if you can\u2026as you never know what\u2019s around the corner. <\/p>\n
