{"id":101328,"date":"2023-11-27T18:47:00","date_gmt":"2023-11-27T18:47:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celebritycovernews.com\/?p=101328"},"modified":"2023-11-27T18:47:00","modified_gmt":"2023-11-27T18:47:00","slug":"bbc-confirms-return-of-legendary-competition-series-and-spin-off-series-and-theyre-just-months-away-the-sun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celebritycovernews.com\/tv-movies\/bbc-confirms-return-of-legendary-competition-series-and-spin-off-series-and-theyre-just-months-away-the-sun\/","title":{"rendered":"BBC confirms return of legendary competition series and spin-off series &#8211; and they\u2019re just months away | The Sun"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LORD Alan Sugar will be back to fire 17 unlucky candidates on a new series of The Apprentice in just a few months\u2019 time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The winner of the series will receive a \u00a3250,000 investment and mentorship from Lord Sugar, 76.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/2023-immersive-event-8-lord-801625026.jpg\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/lord-sugar-tim-campbell-used-792128394.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>A new series of The Apprentice will return in 2024, possibly as early as January in line with the release of past seasons.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The award-winning show follows 18 hopeful candidates as they complete tasks and hope to impress Lord Sugar enough to earn his cash. Alongside his trusted advisers Baroness Karren Brady, 54, and Tim Campbell, 46, Lord Sugar will be testing each contestant\u2019s business savvy and those who fail to impress will be sent home in a black cab.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The early episodes of the series will see the candidates split into men\u2019s and women\u2019s teams. Their tasks include organising a corporate hospitality challenge in the Scottish Highlands and hosting a luxury awa-day for corporate clients.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Candidates who are successful will go on to complete other tasks, including creating cereals for children, discount buying in Jersey, a tourism challenge in Budapest. Join our WhatsApp channel in 3 steps<\/h3>\n<p>Lord Sugar previously confirmed that a 19th series is also in the works for the BBC and that he\u2019d like to keep going to hit a total of 20 seasons.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019d be delighted to do a 20th,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBear in mind, I\u2019ve also done three Junior Apprentices so I mean, in a way, you could argue that I\u2019ve already done 20 [seasons],\u201d the business mogul added.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside the main show, the popular spin-off The Apprentice: You\u2019re Fired will also return.
