A WOMAN has sparked a heated debate regarding dating culture after she paid for the first date.<\/strong><\/p>\n Annie Knight took to social media revealing she was stunned her date didn't offer to pay – but many claimed she was in the wrong.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Australian 26-year-old posted a video on TikTok claiming she made just under \u00a354,000 ($105,000) between 19 September and 19 October through online modelling – and thinks this could be why her date refused to cough up on the date.<\/p>\n In a\u00a0post shared with her second TikTok account\u2019s 33,700 followers, Annie said: \u201cI went on a date the other night and he made me pay – it was $500 (\u00a3260).\u201d<\/p>\n Annie explained that she had been talking to a guy on a dating app for a week before they decided to go to a restaurant together in\u00a0Melbourne.<\/p>\n \u201cWe had a great dinner.
