The four teenagers who have gone missing in North Wales are\u00a0‘are not experienced campers’ and had basic equipment, according to the mother of one of the boy\u2019s girlfriends.<\/p>\n
Jevon Hirst, Harvey Owen, Wilf Henderson and Hugo Morris, who are said to be in their late teens, were last seen getting into a silver Ford Fiesta car on Sunday morning and haven’t been seen since.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The quartet are understood to have been travelling near the Welsh coastal areas of Harlech and Porthmadog and could have been heading into Snowdonia. The car’s registration plate is HY14 GVO.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police in North Wales have now launched an urgent search for the teenagers, who vanished during a camping trip.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Lisa Corfield,\u00a0the mother of one of the boy\u2019s girlfriends, told MailOnline they have ‘no word as [of] yet.’<\/p>\n
She said: ‘They are not experienced campers.\u00a0They have never been there before.<\/p>\n
‘[They] were just going for the night so have a tent and sleeping bags but only the basics.’<\/p>\n

The young men are believed to be from the Shrewsbury area and were due home from their trip on Monday morning but none of them have made contact with friends and family and their phones are all off.<\/p>\n
The lack of contact was said to be out of character and friends said their families are ‘worried sick’.<\/p>\n
Harvey’s mother reposted the appeal post shared by North Wales Police on Facebook\u00a0and wrote: ‘I am frantic with worry, one of these boys is my son Harvey, please please please share and tag anyone in Wales or get in touch with any information you may have.’<\/p>\n
Another family member, Mel Hirst, wrote: ‘Please keep sharing… if anyone knows anything or can think of anything that may help find the boys please contact the police. We are desperate for any news.’<\/p>\n
Ms Corfield also wrote on Facebook: ‘They have been missing up Snowdonia after going camping yesterday and were due home this morning but have not been seen or heard from since.<\/p>\n
‘Please share with as many as possible so we can try and get them home safely thank you.’<\/p>\n
Helicopters have been sent up to search the area for the missing boys.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Police and mountain rescue teams are searching the area for the group and have urged anyone who may have seen them to contact them immediately.\u00a0<\/p>\n
North Wales Police said in a statement: ‘Police have concerns for four young males missing from the Harlech\/Porthmadog area since the morning of the 19\/11\/23.<\/p>\n
‘The four males’ names are Jevon Hirst, Harvey Owen, Wilf Henderson and Hugo Morris.<\/p>\n
‘They were travelling in a Silver Ford Fiesta registration HY14 GVO.<\/p>\n
‘Any sightings please contact North Wales Police and quote ref num A184194.’<\/p>\n
