MMA star Jason Knight was left in a battered and bruised state following his fight with Randy Costa on Friday night.<\/p>\n

Knight and Costa were competing in Gamebred Bareknuckle 6 being held in Mississippi<\/span>, USA.<\/p>\n

\n<\/p>\n

The fight ended in less than two minutes as debutant Knight was beaten to a bloody pulp by fellow UFC veteran Costa.<\/p>\n

The American landed a few punches in the opening exchanges but could not live with Costa's precision and combinations.<\/p>\n

And after 101 seconds this saw Knight, 31, knocked out by Costa, also 31.<\/p>\n

Taking to Instagram following the fight, Knight praised his opponent as a "class act".<\/p>\n

He also shared the image of his post-fight face.<\/p>\n

Knight said: "Finally made it back to my room from the hospital. All stitched up! after a CT scan I found out I have a broken bone in the lower part of my orbital! <\/p>\n

"Also lost a few more teeth but at the end of the day, it is what it is! Cannot have picked a better man to lose to @randy_costa was a class act and I will be rooting for him from now on!"<\/p>\n

Fans seemed to have mixed reactions from the aftermath of the fight and given Knight's brutal injuries.<\/p>\n
