organised their wedding for less than \u00a33,000.<\/p>\n<p>Lauren Vickery-Young, 25, and Connor Young, 33, decided to have a discount wedding as they both grew up working class and understand &quot;the true value of money.&quot;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/c6252d0f-d97a-4cd3-b946-54e9cc2d1fe0.jpg\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/811f6c18-f2e5-4894-a2f2-47c887c13542.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>The newlyweds from Southampton, Hampshire managed to get their wedding costs down to \u00a32,721 by saving on a photographer and making the invites themselves.<\/p>\n<p>Lauren also bought her dress at a charity shop for \u00a3200 and Connor re-used a suit he already had.<\/p>\n<p>The pair tied the knot on September 23 and had the ceremony at their local registry office and the reception at a cocktail &#8211;
