WHEN Emma Raducanu won the US Open in 2021 aged just 18, it put the British tennis star on the map.<\/p>\n
But off the court, the fashionable and iconic starlet boasts an exciting and fascinating lifestyle.<\/p>\n

Her sponsorship deals with the likes of fashion house Dior, Tiffany and Co, British Airways, Porsche and Nike have swelled her net worth.<\/p>\n
It is believed Raducanu is sitting on a fortune worth over \u00a310million. That has allowed her to afford life's riches.<\/p>\n
She loves motor racing, and as a kid enjoyed go-karting and motocross.<\/p>\n
Emma, who has a flashy Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet worth \u00a3132,000 has attended the British Grand Prix, and once admitted she would love to follow in Lewis Hamilton's footsteps and race.<\/p>\n
But, the travel-obsessed star is happy to hop around the globe and try new experiences, that she shares with her millions of Instagram followers.<\/p>\n And if it's not tennis or auto racing, she could always become an artist.<\/p>\n Talented Emma has a flair for art, showing off her painting skills on social media. <\/p>\n Here, SunSport takes a look into the life of Raducanu.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Raducanu was born in Toronto, Canada, in November 2002 before moving to London two years later and growing up in Britain.<\/p>\n Her dad, Ian, is Romanian and her mum, Renee, is Chinese – and the star's heritage is a huge part of her life.<\/p>\n Raducanu previously listed four locations on her official Instagram page: London, Toronto, Bucharest and Shenyang.<\/p>\n According to BBC Sport, she's "quite capable" of speaking Mandarin and loves to watch Taiwanese TV shows.<\/p>\n The youngster also enjoys visiting Romania to see her family and beloved grandmother, Mamiya.<\/p>\n She told the press: "I go back a couple of times a year, stay with her, see her. It's really nice. I love the food, to be honest.<\/p>\n "I mean, the food is unbelievable. And my grandma's cooking is also something special. I do have ties to Bucharest."<\/p>\n One of Raducanu's great passions in life is motorsport, visiting Silverstone to watch Sir Lewis Hamilton win the British Grand Prix in July 2021.<\/p>\n She loved go-karting and motocross as a child and continues to dabble in the sports during her spare time.<\/p>\n And she has become pals with the seven-time F1 champ, who has acted as a mentor during her rise. <\/p>\n Emma was quizzed about aspirations moving forward in 2023 and what she would love to do with her sponsor Porsche. She joked: \u201cCompete in a race with Porsche?!\u201d<\/p>\n Raducanu is also fond of horse riding, tap dancing, golf, skiing, basketball and football – cheering England at major tournaments.<\/p>\n She watched the Three Lions beat Denmark at Wembley in the Euro 2020 semi-final, and claimed the US Open title was coming 'home' after her win.<\/p>\n That is of course a reference to English football's famous "It's Coming Home" chant, which is heard in stadiums when the national team achieves.<\/p>\n She also attended the World Cup final in 2022 between Argentina and France, describing the occasion as "iconic", and is a Spurs fan.<\/p>\n Every celebrity will want to be mates with Raducanu after her success at Flushing Meadows.<\/p>\n Various famous faces, including Boris Johnson, Ant & Dec, Stephen Fry, Nicola Sturgeon and Clare Balding have paid tribute to her success.<\/p>\n Even the late QUEEN<\/strong> published an open letter to congratulate Raducanu on her remarkable triumph – which the tennis star planned to frame.<\/p>\n Raducanu is also mates with Marcus Rashford, with the Manchester United hero offering his support when she crashed out of the tournament in 2021.<\/p>\n She told Vogue: "I was feeling like I let people down, so for him to reassure me like that – I was extremely grateful."<\/p>\n Rashford congratulated Raducanu on her American success, tweeting: "Look at that bounce back… US Open champion, amazing. Congratulations!" <\/p>\n And she went to the same school as sprinter Dina Asher-Smith, although they attended Newstead Wood in Orpington at different times.<\/p>\n Raducanu has not forgotten her roots, taking time out her busy schedule to visit her old primary school on sports day.<\/p>\n She inspired the next generation by handing out medals and playing tennis with the kids, giving them some priceless tips.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n While in 2022, ambitious Emma was awarded an MBE by the King.<\/p>\n Being a tennis pro means you get to travel around the world to some glam places.<\/p>\n But when you are playing, you have very little time to see the sights.<\/p>\n Emma loves travelling, and she makes sure when she has some downtime she explores the globe.<\/p>\n She is keen to show off her passport stamps on Instagram, where she uploads video and pictures.<\/p>\n While her experiences and travel tips are being lapped up by her fans.<\/p>\n In 2023, she was wowed by New York and its local trendy cuisine.<\/p>\n Emma told fans that they have to try a flagel, which she describes as a "squashed bagel".<\/p>\n For Dubai, she recommended anyone who goes to make sure they have air conditioning. "That's a big one for me," she admitted in a video for HSBC's Unforeign Exchange.<\/p>\n Melbourne is another particular favourite for the artsy sports woman, who loves the street art and graffiti to be found in the Australian city.<\/p>\n The culinary delights of Singapore didn't escape Emma either, with her revealing: "My personal favourite [dish there] is black pepper crab."<\/p>\n When she competed at the Chicago Tennis Festival, she revealed her appreciation of the American city, writing: "See you soon Chicago."<\/p>\n As she continues to play on the tour, the Grand Slam winner will continue to check off every major city on the planet.<\/p>\n The world is truly Emma's oyster.<\/p>\n Injuries have seen her sidelined, including a recurring wrist problem that needed surgery on both hands and an ankle issue that also saw her go under the knife for in 2023.<\/p>\n In that time, she boosted her interests. Art galleries became one of her favourite jaunts, and she visited the National Gallery to enjoy several paintings, taking a snap in front of the Whistlejacket by George Stubbs.<\/p>\n While in the past, she has showed she is a fine painter in her own right on social media.<\/p>\n On a trip to China, she shared a masterful video of some artwork created.<\/p>\n If there's a career void, being an artist could certainly be her next port of call.<\/p>\n<\/picture>LOVE ALL <\/span><\/p>\n
