<\/p>\nEmmerdale’s Cathy Hope (played by Gabrielle Dowling) recently opened up to her pal April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) about her plan to get pregnant by love interest Samson Dingle (Sam Hall).<\/p>\n
Samson already shares a young child with Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) on the ITV soap after she gave birth during last year’s Super Soap Week in a barn.<\/p>\n
Cathy came up with the idea as a way to handle her Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder which causes mood swings and heavy periods.<\/p>\n
Through research, Cathy has found pregnancy can potentially ease her symptoms for months – possibly forever.\u00a0<\/p>\n
However, April was staggered to realise just how far Cathy is willing to go to allay her symptoms.<\/p>\n
