A TV star who appeared on Channel 4 show How the Other Half Live has appeared in court charged with fraud.
Glenn Armstrong, 64, is accused of persuading his alleged victims to hand over cash by lying about how he would invest it.
The property guru also allegedly failed to disclose a loss by obtaining a £50,000 Covid support loan from RBS.
Armstrong appeared at Southwark Crown Court today charged with 45 fraud offences between January 2011 and September 2022.
No pleas were entered, with today's hearing adjourned until December 15.
Armstrong, of Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, was released on unconditional bail.
The property magnate starred on Channel 4's How The Other Half Live in 2010.
The show, created by the same people behind The Secret Millionaire, sees wealthier families provide help for those living in poverty.
Armstrong set up a firm called Glenn Armstrong's Property Millionaire Academy Ltd.
