This is the shocking moment a huge blaze engulfs a packed bar during a New Year’s Eve party in Manchester.

Emergency services scrambled to One Eight Six bar on Deansgate last night after the fire broke out amid end of year celebrations.

Two men had to be taken to hospital after three people in total were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.

An investigation into the incident, which broke out just minutes after customers rang in the new year, is ongoing

Video footage shows a number of revellers holding what appear to be sprinklers, before one then accidentally sets fire to the bar’s decorations

In frantic scenes, a woman is dragged away on her seat from the eye of the blaze by another party-goer as others quickly dash from the area while balloons fall down from above

Someone then runs in with a fire extinguisher to try and put out the inferno, which ultimately saw around 170 revellers evacuated
