Another out-of-towner has been arrested for trying to enter the Empire State Building with a firearm — the second incident in two days.
Gerald Warford, 22, of Louisiana, was busted around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday when a gun was spotted in his backpack as it passed through a metal detector, according to police sources.
An 18-year-old Wyoming woman was cuffed Monday around noon after trying to pass her 9mm through the security checkpoint at the entrance of the city’s iconic art deco landmark.
The woman, Sabrina Allee, had a valid license and permit for her weapon back in her home state and was slapped with a criminal possession of a weapon charge, sources told the Post at the time.
It was not immediately clear if Warford had any license for the weapon or whether he will face charges.
