A 50-year-old wanted on a parole violation clipped a cop with his car in Times Square when the officer tried to bring him in on Monday, police said.
The incident unfolded around noon when the officer approached the man’s car at W. 45th Street and 8th Avenue, according to police.
When the cop, a member of the department’s warrant squad, tried to pull the man out of the car, the man floored it and clipped the officer, speeding off north on 8th Avenue, police said.
The man, who was previously busted for robbery, dumped the car at W. 50th Street and cops lost him in the subway, police said.
The officer was taken to Bellevue for minor injuries, police said.
