Harvey Weinstein, 68, 'gravely ill with suspected Covid' as disgraced movie mogul is 'put in prison isolation'

HARVEY Weinstein is reportedly gravely ill and possibly has Covid as the disgraced movie mogul has been "put in prison isolation."

The fallen Hollywood mogul is suspected to have coronavirus and is "doing poorly," law enforcement officials told TMZ.

Weinstein – who was convicted of rape in New York in February and is facing charges in California – was said to have a 101-degree temperature.

The 68-year-old is currently suffering "various health issues" while in isolation and is considered to be at "extreme risk" due to his age and health status.

According to TMZ, Weinstein was tested for Covid on Tuesday morning.

Despite doctors having to wait for his Covid test results, they've placed him into a 72-hour isolation period.

Weinstein, who is serving a 23-year prison sentence in New York, is expected to be taken to the prison hospital if he tests positive for coronavirus.

His sickness comes one month after he was charged with a further six counts of sexual attacks on two victims from alleged incidents more than a decade ago.

The new allegations against Weinstein claim he raped a woman at a hotel in Beverly Hills between September 2004 and 2005, prosecutors said.

They also accuse him of raping another woman on two separate occasions in November 2009 and November 2010 at a hotel in Beverly Hills.

Weinstein is alleged to have attacked five women in California from 2004 to 2013.
