London-based billionaire Robert Tchenguiz accuses ex-wife of ‘fabrication and lies’ over her claims in Montana court that he plans to ‘force their 14-year-old son to have sex with a prostitute’
- Heather Bird, 51, is living in Montana with her two children from the marriage
- She was married to business tycoon Robert Tchenguiz from 2005 to 2019
- Ms Bird now claims that he will force their son, 14, to have sex with a prostitute
- Mr Tchenguiz hit back at the claims and dubbed them ‘fabrication and lies’
A billionaire business tycoon has furiously accused his ex-wife of ‘fabrication and lies’ over her claims that he could force their 14-year-old son to have sex with a prostitute if the teenager returns to London.
Heather Bird, 51, said her ex-husband Robert Tchenguiz, 61, who lives in a £20million London house next to the Royal Albert Hall, wanted their son to sleep with a sex worker to ‘make him a man’.
But today Mr Tchenguiz hit back at the claims, telling MailOnline: ‘This is not the first time Ms Bird is resorting to fabrication and lies.
‘She is desperate to justify her unlawful actions and has already been warned by the US court of the serious consequences she could face following the hearing if she is found to have unlawfully retained the children.’
Ms Bird made the astonishing allegation in documents submitted as part of a legal action in the US brought by her ex-husband after she took their two children to see her family in the US for Christmas 2020 but never returned.

Ms Bird has also accused Mr Tchenguiz of ‘years of intense psychological abuse’ during their years of marriage
In a filing at the district Missoula division court in Montana, Ms Bird said their son felt ‘fear and anxiety’ about living with his father.
Her statement read: ‘The root of his fear is his due to the thought of being returned to London where his father will follow through on his threat of making [their son] into a man by having sex with a paid sex worker that his father will arrange for.
‘The threat made clear that this would happen whether [the son] wants to participate or not. The age [Tchenguiz] considers appropriate is bar mitzvah age.’
The claims caused fury in Mr Tchenguiz’s camp. A source said:: ‘Robert is dealing with someone who will resort to anything to embarrass him. It’s complete nonsense and utter rubbish that he would force his son to sleep with a prostitute. But he has to be careful how he handles this matter because his children are involved.’
Before travelling to the US, the couple lived on different floors of a £20million London house next door to the Royal Albert Hall when they separated in 2009. At the time Mr Tchenguiz’s girlfriend, Polish model Julia Dybowska, 30, also lived there.
He is still in a relationship with her and they live together in the former family home.
Mr Tchenguiz’s son celebrated his bar mitzvah, the Jewish coming of age celebration, weeks before he left the UK with his mother and sister.
In America, the couple’s son has been enrolled in a school in Eureka, Montana, where he has settled and even competed with his school wrestling team in the state championship.
The boy also started an online petition to allow him to stay in the country.
Ms Bird, who ran an anti-ageing clinic in west London, was due to return to London in January with her two children but coronavirus restrictions delayed their flight. Subsequent plans to return were also cancelled.
Ms Bird told the court she and her children were ‘forced’ to live with Tchenguiz, his girlfriend and a maid.
Mr Tchenguiz also accused her of denying him access to his children.

He fumed: ‘I commenced legal action in the United States in October of this year for the repatriation of my son to London who had been unlawfully taken from the UK without his permission.’
‘My former wife Heather Bird took my son and daughter to the United States last December for a two-week vacation and is unwilling to return the children to London.’
He added: ‘Despite numerous attempts over the last twelve months made by me for the children to return home, Ms Bird has denied me access at every stage.’
Mr Tchenguiz started legal action under the Hague Convention, which sets out that court hearings about children under the age of 16 should be held in the country where they ‘habitually live’.
Because the couple’s daughter turned 16 while in the US, she does not fall into this.
But Mr Tchenguiz said the family lived in Knightsbridge, central London, since the former couple’s marriage in 2005.
In a court document Mr Tchenguiz’s lawyer Christopher Gillette said the father provided ’emotional’ and ‘financial’ support to the teenager throughout his life.
Judge Donald Molloy adjourned the hearing until next month and ordered the teenager to have a ‘mental evaluation’.
The former spouses’ story was told in the 2018 BBC documentary Robbie’s War: The Rise and Fall of the Playboy Billionaire, which claimed Mr Tchenguiz enjoyed a lavish life while his wife and children struggled.
He denied this and said: ‘I have a very civil relationship with my ex-wife.’
