WHITE Lotus's Theo James has made a shocking confession about the infamous penis scene that sent fans wild.
The second season of HBO's The White Lotus is well underway, and there's more to see than just scenery of Sicily – put it that way.
During the latest episode of the HBO comedy-drama James’ character, Cameron Babcock, is seen grabbing a swimsuit from Harper Spiller’s (Aubrey Plaza) hotel room.
As she searches for sunscreen, Cameron is seen in the background taking off his pants and changing, and well there's very little left for the imagination.
Viewers momentarily saw Cameron’s penis from behind, which has proved to be somewhat of a talking point among fans online, as they wanted to know if James, was wearing a fake organ or if it was real.
But, Theo, 37, admitted recently that there was some special effects involved in shooting the scene during his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The actor said: "So, you go into these scenes, and you have a conversation with the director, and the producers, and they go, ‘Okay, for this, we’re gonna use a prosthetic.’ ..and you say, ‘Okay, that sounds good."
The Whit Lotus star recalled chats he had with head of makeup, as he said "I just wanted it to not be distracting. It needs to be "regular Joe".
He added: "Because the scene, you know, it’s not about the pee pee, it’s about power play and sex. It’s about whether he did it deliberately or whether it was an accident and what that means. She says, ‘I got you. Yeah, I got you. Regular Joe.'”
When James saw the prosthetic, he joked about the size, which according to Hickey was regular. “I mean, it’s bigger than that. It’s like she stole it off a donkey in the field!” he joked. ‘The thing is ginormous.”
However, Theo was shocked when he saw the prosthetic for the first time, admitting it looked like “a hammer or something”. “It’s like she stole it off a donkey in a field,” he said. “The thing is ginormous.”
The HBO actor explained that viewers didn't even get to see most of what the White Lotus team had planned.
“The initial version we shot was way too much, we did a more subtle version. They toned it [down]," Theo told Entertainment Tonight.
“The White Lotus” will debut the penultimate episode of its second season Sunday evening.
